International Land and Water Management Master at Wageningen University

The two-year Master International Land and Water Management programme focuses on the scientific analysis of the physical, technical and socio-economic aspects of land and water management. Graduates will be able to design sustainable and efficient interventions and technical structures in land and water management, for example, to conserve soil and water from erosion. Students will develop a comparative insight into the development of land and water management, take an academic approach to various research paradigms, and acquire a problem-oriented, interdisciplinary attitude towards land and water management and rural development issues.

International Land and Water Management study outline

The Master International Land and Water Management programme consists of courses and a research thesis. The programme is intended for agriculturists, soil scientists and hydrologists who want to pursue careers in agricultural development and planning and in the conservation and maintenance of land and water resources. The programme offers three specialisations allowing you to tailor it to your personal interests. The three International Land and Water Management specialisations are: Land Degradation and Development; Irrigation and Water Management; Integrated Water Management.
